Volunteer opportunities are available to support our patients and their families, while enahancing their quality of life.
Volunteer opportunities may include some of the following:
- Spending time with patients to allow caregivers a short break
- Clerical support for volunteer and bereavement services
- Providing light maintenance and lawn care for patients so they can remain in their own home
- Providing individualized music, reading and other interactions with patients to enhance the quality of life
- Providing letter writing, memory book construction and other supportive activities for patients and families
- Sitting with patients and providing emotional support at end of life as part of our “Angel Team” for those patients who may not have any family members who can be with them at the end of life
